Poll: D3s+18-55 kit lens OR D90+17-55 2.8 lens?

More amazing is the number of people who'd use a D3s in DX-mode with a 18-55mm stuck on the front and think it normal....

I think none of them would actually use that 18-55mm. it's all about the D3s.

Would also like to know what the DoF wide open would be with a FF body and a f/3.5 kit lens and a DX body with a f/2.8 lens.... narrower or not?

the excuse is that they already have the lenses .
without that in mind the poll is wierd .

if we were talking a comparison between say a D40 with top glass and a D300 with cheap glass, the answer would be easy.

If that cheap glass is a 50mm f/1.8D, then yeah, the answer's easy, D300 and cheap glass.
