right, im planning on getting a portfolio printed out to use to my advantage on night shoots (as iv been stopped by security and police too many times and they dont seem to buy my story that photographing at 1am is a usual thing for me...)

anyway would you recomend putting in any writing to go with each photo or just let the pictures do the talking? if theres writing what would you write etc...

also would you recomend any places that can print off for say below 35 quid - im looking at photobox

cheers for any help, phil

If it's just to show that you're not up to no good them maybe have a look at the Blurb photobooks? Standard landscape one is around £15 inc (and you should be able to find a £5 off voucher). The quality is questionable as a photobook but for something to carry around "just in case" it doesn't really matter. It would probably be smaller and easier to carry han a proper portfolio as well. :)

If you are after just a cheap book to put in your camera bag etc...

Why not try as above Blurb or just Tesco,Jessops etc...

The police and security are not going to be bothered with quality...
