comment and crit please:

I think I've over sharpened (basic unsharp-mask) to get the detail back in the eyes at the expense of skin smoothness and grain.

Shot on Kodak Tri-X 400, souped in Aculux3 and scanned with an old Minolta dimage 35mm scanner.

Hey Bill, it's been a while!

Yep, looks massively over-sharpened to me, maybe accentuated by the higher ISO or maybe you pushed the exposure a little? (although given the lighting that seems unlikely).

Otherwise looks great, nice separation from the background, nice and sharp and focussed on the eyes with nice catchlight. Loving the detail in the darks (hair) too.

Only thing is the other reflections in the eyes are a little off putting.
