Help I am going to upgrade my Nikon d7100 for a full frame camera for mainly portraits
I am looking at either the d750 or d800
I would like a fast auto focus and good low light capture
Having checked out both camera specs both have good and bad points I am leaning towards the d800 but am hoping some of you wonderful people can help me
Thanks

D750 has much better AF than the d800. And I’d say it has a slight advantage in low light too, in terms of noise performance at least. Low light AF the d750 is fR better. Seems like a no brained to me.

When 1-2 year olds are moving around then as quick as possible

Realistically virtually any DSLR has been able to do this for the last decade, if they can keep up with a cheetah on safari a toddler should be no problem. If you can't do this with a D7100 then something is amiss.

Agreed. In fact, my D7100 and Sigma 17-50 2.8 was the perfect combo for this a few years back.
