More to the point..
If I hadn't shot the original image in Raw, I never would have been able to bring out the detail in the sky.
The HDR / Tonemapping was just a way to combine the foreground with the sky.
It could have been done with burning in the sky but I chose to tonemap instead.
It was, far more helpful than "LOL!!". RAW is a brilliant creation which has helped me to rescue many a photo with it simply because it can be done. I spent most of today fixing white balance issues due to theatre lighting.
