Powerboat Racing

Great shots (if a trifle dark) but more at home in the Motorsport section perhaps?
 
Second lot are better lit. Even if they're a bit noisier, IMO they're an improvement on the darker ones.

A chap I used to work with used to race inland powerboats and an ex-boss did both inshore and off shore racing.
 
I enjoyed the light level of the first two for the contrast with key points - helmets in 1 and the basically Gulf Racing orange and blue in 2. Love the spray. The shots with one craft crossing L-R and one in the background yet to reach the turn mark I'm a bit distracted by the boat behind being OOF.

Reminds me I must head up to Oulton Broad to catch the racing there sometime soon. It's been over 10 years since I made the effort.
