Praktica Super TL 1000 - exposure meter not working (broken or battery problem?)

Hi all

I recently picked up a Praktica Super TL 1000 and got a new film and battery for it. The old battery it came with was an EPX625 and the new battery is an EPX625G (don't know if that extra G is a problem).

The exposure needle doesn't move regardless of what I do. Reckon it's broken or could the battery be the problem?

Well it turns out you have to press a button to active the exposure meter! Not my brightest moment.

Problem solved.
