Preset management in Lightroom Classic - painful!

Can't believe Adobe released software with such bad functionality - and failed to fix it.

Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this please...

* You can no longer just add a folder or presets which Lightroom will pick up - they have to be installed. (Changed a few versions ago)

* An earlier version of Lightroom automatically updated old presets (leaving .xmp_original files everywhere), but you can't now install old versions on the fly. (Is that right?)

* The install process puts the preset in a folder on your hard drive which matches the name in Lightroom. But if you move the preset in Lightroom, it stays in the original folder. So everything becomes out of sync.

(This plugin fixes it: http://www.johnrellis.com/lightroom/fixpresets.htm#using)

* To create a new presets *folder*, you have to create a dummy preset with a new folder. And then delete the dummy preset - but not until you've added something else, as you can't have an empty folder. WTF?!

So, so bad!

PS This is a good video if you have 'missing' presets.
