printer calibration with ColorMunki

Hi Ladys and gentlemens. I treat myself and bought a ColorMunki. very clever piece of device. Question is how to use the profile created by CMwith PS? I know how to work with icc in photoshop etc. but whats the correct settings for CM icc?

all my pictures i printed look worse then printed with standard epson profiles

can any one help??

Have you turned off all colour management when printing the chart? That means Ps and the printer

What printer?

To use the profile you right click the ICC profile file and select install. THen when you look at Photoshop, you need to again make sure colour management is turned off from your printer and that Ps is set to manage the colour,

thanks for the tips. I know how to instal them.
regards to color chart you dont print that through photoshop. you have to use colormunki software so this is the bigest problem.

iirc when you print the test sheets for the colormunki you get the printer setup dialogue, turn of colour management in the printer driver and make a note of the paper and print settings you use.
Then in CS from the print window select photoshop manages colour, then from the dropdown list select the profile you want, in the page setup tab make sure you select no colour management in the printer driver and be sure to use the same paper and print settings as you used to make the profile.

Even if you use the colormunki, when you select print and you get the options for print setup, just make sure that ICC is turned off on the printer driver.

Select the paper type (lustre. glossy etc) and also select the quality - In the R2400 you would select best photo.

Turn off colour manageent and then select print.
