Using apples mail on my imac, when I check mails it highlights all the mails with the same sender as I scroll through.

Is there a way to select and delete all the highlighted mails in one go instead of clicking each mail?

Highlight the messages you want, you can you use cmd click to multi-select. Then cmd-del to delete them.

Two ways I would use.

1. Type the first part of the senders address into the Search Box in the top right corner. When the bar appears underneath that lets you specify Entire Message|From|To|Subject - select the 'From' Option. This should filter your mail to just this sender and you can then select all and delete.

2. If you regularly receive emails from people that you read and the delete after a period of time, you might want to set up a Smart Mailbox for them. http://www.switchingtomac.com/tutorials/smart-mailboxes-in-mac-mail/ - will show you how.
