taking some outdoors the other day - noticed this when downloaded

bad corners ? - cannot be certain there wasn't a C/PL filter - so did some tests this evening..against a flat wall - no filter or hood - just glass

the tree in the OP was exposed at 1/200 @f6.3 -- hardly wide open ?

and I have never noticed it before in landscape shots
here's one at 18mm but cannot remember if its cropped .....:thinking:
