Hi,

I have a sony a100 that is about 3 years old now. It has started having a problem of the image in the viewfinder not matching up with the image taken. I have never dropped the camera (that of course doesn't mean my gf or children haven't dropped it ...) but if I gently tap the bottom of the camera the correlation between the viewfinder and picture taken slightly changes. The images are all still in focus, but I find things getting chopped off in my final pictures :(.

Any one heard of this happening to sony slrs or in general? Is it worth getting it fixed given its a bit long in the tooth now?

thanks

alex

hi alex,and welcome to TP:wave:

okay,i'd not heard of this problem until someone else on here had a similar problem with(i think)an A350.unfortunately,i'm a little unsure what the outcome was as i think he was advised to send it back as it was still under warranty.i've no idea as to why it's happening, and can only suggest contacting sony UK to see what they would say, then make a decision from there...
