Problems with trial version Elements 9

[Strangways]

I have just downloaded the trial version of Elements 9 onto both my desktop and laptop computers. Both operate on Windows XP. The software on the laptop works fine, but whenever I try and use the the Healing Brush on my desktop the program crahes and switches off. I have uninstalled it and re-installed it, but it keeps happening.

Can anybody help?

I downloaded t the other day and it's working perfectly. But I am on a Mac.... :shrug:

It makes it expensive if I need to buy a Mac as well

It appears that this is an inherent problem with Elements 9.

The Healing tool can only be used if you have a dual core processor.

Surley other people are still running single core processors or am I really that far behind the times?
