I've dug out my old ps2 and set it up with my old logitech wheel. It's a force feedback one with 3 pedals and flappy paddles for gear changing. For some reason it isn't working at all in the game (gran turismo 4) but in set up modes the pedals do change screen settings. I'm probably being daft somehow as it is ages since I used it last.
As far as I know it is plugged in correctly - usb lead from driving wheel section is plugged into ps2. There is a d connector that goes from the pedal box and plugs into the wheel section. And I've plugged in the power. The power must work as the wheel does the full left and right turn when you switch on the ps2 and it boots up the game. But it doesn't work in any way so you have no acceleration or steering! Normal analog controller works.
There are two d connectors. One male, one female. I can't remember whether both of them have been plugged in as only one is. I had a vague idea that the other one is for plugging in when you're using a pc.
Could this be the issue and it is a missing d connector lead?
So annoying as I was just looking forward to a blast round a few tracks!
