Bought the Manfrotto MKC3-H01 tripod today to replace an ageing and not fit for use tripod that came with my 8mm video camera 14 years ago.

Would be interested in your views on my choice.

Are you happy with it? Surely that's all that matters.
 
Not had a chance to use it yet, only bought it yesterday afternoon. Just wondering what users think of it in the field.
 
Matt Granger did a video on this a while ago. Having followed his vids for a while, I value his opinion.

I have a heavier duty Manfrotto tripod and grip arrangement, for a much heavier camera, and I do like the arrangement very much in preference to normal ball heads, and particularly over pan/tilt arrangements.
