hi all.

I have a new epson px710w printer, and am having a problem with smears and blotches.
this happens when I print from lightroom3 or photoshop cs5.
I am printing from the played with file straight from these programs to the printer.
If I export the image to a jpeg then print from say epson print or windows print this does not happen!!! does someone know what I am doing wrong?

I am getting it on the picture. I don't touch the printed image for several minutes to give it a chance to dry.

dam only thing I could think of was that lightroom used a high quality image setting and so more ink making it smudge
 
it could be that, because I am using textured paper to print with, but lightroom only gives me options for photo paper....but it only happens with the begining or end of the print.
