Question about Nikon D50 Lens

Hello everyone,

Recently, I want to buy a new lens for my Nikon D50 body. I am researching a lens "Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G ED-IF Lens ", which is sold with D70 Kit.

Does anyone know if the D50 can use this lens? And is this lens good?

Indeed it will fit fine, and for the price this is a very good lens, you can normally pick them up second hand between £110-£135, a few have gone on here in recent times

AFAIK, any Nikon DSLR can use the lens (FX sensors will vignette unless the camera is set to DX mask), including the D40(x) and D60. As has already been said, it's a cracking lens, if a bit slow (small max aperture).
