Question for the D300 users

The D80 uses the same EN-EL3e batteries as the D300. Could any D300 users shed any light on battery life? I always get approx. 1000 frames per one full battery on my D80.

Assuming VR is on? I still get approx. 1000 with my 18-200 VR but I seldom use VR.

It depends how you use the camera - so you won't get a simple answer. If you use AF-S a lot - VR - use the screen to review every shot - etc - everyone will get a different result.
I charge the batteries after every days shooting. I use the grip so always have two anyway.

I usually get around 400-500 Raw files per battery but i cant be to certain about that, but i really think it all depends on the lenses your using and how much you review images like has been said above.

I find Having three batteries helps a lot the d300 certainly uses power more effectively than the d200.
