Quick Lightroom "how to....?"

In the Develop module, select the Crop tool. Move your cursor to the border around the image and it should change into a curved double arrow and the grid will appear.

EDIT: If you want the grid on all the time; in the Develop module, select the View menu then Loupe Overlay and Grid.

It was the top solution I was looking for and I was very used to doing that , but it doesn't seem to work for me now....... Thanks though, Steve.
 
@jerry12953 Get the grid up in crop and tap the "o" key to see all the options.
When you get to the one you want click done then next time it should open with the small boxes grid
