I'm wondering how much Photoshopping (sorry "post processing") you all feel can be carried out before a photograph is no longer a photograph and becomes a computer generated image?
It becoms a computer generated image when you press the button and the image is proccessed by your sensor and saved to memory card.
To me it's not a case of how much processing CAN be carried out - it's a case of the end result I have in mind and what processing is required to get there. Photoshop is simply a digital dark-room complete with all the tools film developers used but a lot more tools that can be used to turn the picture into an art form.
But the point is - it's an image before you even start - it's then your choice how much more you do to it yourself.
