Raby Castle or Studley Park?

Looking to get some photographs of the rut over the next couple of weeks.

Does anyone have any experience of these places or anywhere else in the North East?

Looking at the website, it looks as if Raby Castle is closed, but are you still allowed in to take photos in the deer park?

Not too sure on access into Raby Castle at this time of year? Have you tried Whitworth Hall in Spennymoor? there's a Deer park there with some nice surroundings.
