Well, in all modesty I have to admit that I am an innovative gourmet chef of sorts - this is my signature soup,
Tangerine Dream. A slice of beetroot tossed into the blender with the pumkin brightens the flavour and colour.

I though beetroot was a more purple colour

Yes Nathan, beetroot, or redbeet as it is also known, is a deep burgundy which turns pumpkin to tangerine. It tastes nice too.
