RAF Waddington (no pictures, just a question)

I know this weekend is the airshow weekend so it will be busy, but do any of you guys know how busy the place is day to day? If I was to park up on the viewing area on the A15 on any random (non airshow) day, would I be able to see many planes flying about and if so, what are the best days for this? Thanks

Waddington is ok for 'spotting' but you will see 10 times more 'traffic' a little further south, at RAF Coningsby 'fightertown' as it is now dubbed
