Raynox earwig

Evil looking things aren't they :eek:

I like the pose (for want of a better word!) but I think the earwig is too tight in the frame. I'd like to see more space on the right and the focus on it's head rather than it's middle.
 
That's good with tricky gear. I agree with DS about the focus on the head, rather than the body and a little more room on the right. Was this shot at the wide end of the zoom ?

I agree ;) , i have just started macro again after getting a DSLR. I missed the focus as i shot this in very low light. I was just testing my homemade flash bracket after modifying it to fit this camera.
 
Earwigs are something i don't seem to find these days and I don't know why. Nice shot Damage (y)
 
Nice one, I have attempted earwigs before but they are a bit too fast and I never get a good shot.
