im just trying to establish realistically if this is going to be a worthwhile purchase, or not..... when i go and shoot shots, im normally taking multiples, sometimes hundreds... with a pouch i understand the body/lens weight is better spread so ergonomically friendlier so to speak, but monopods in general (and certainly the one i have) has a fixed head on it so thinking (and maybe thinking too much into this) it'l be quite restrictive- for example shooting different heights etc...

does anyone possess one of these pouchs or an equivalent version, and if so what are your views of them???

I've got one of those exact same models, I love mine. But i think it depends how you are with panning with a monopd, personally I find it much easier with a pouch, while others can do it just fine without a pouch.
I also find it handy when I want to use a monopod when Im stood on a pair of steps or a wheelie bin etc.
 
Yup...I use that one as well....can't get on with having the pod fully extended to the floor , find this a much better option :thumbs:
 
ok- cheers for response.... will look out for one- sounds like a worthy addition to my equipment list...
