Hi, I received my first L lens today :) It is the 70-200 f/4L IS and is my first L. I'm really excited to go out and take some photos with it :) I also bought the the 1.4x extender to give me that extra reach should I need it.

This has been a huge spend for me but unusually for me I am having no second thoughts (yet) :). Then again it only arrived 10 mins ago. Lol

I should mention I bought it from Kerso. Ordered on Monday PM, bank transfer acknowledged same evening, shipped Tuesday, arrived 7.30am on Wednesday. Cant ask for better than that!
 
Oh dear, the "L" drug...it will get you :D:D

I bought the 70-200, then the 85mm, then the 24mm, then the 135mm, then the 28-300 :D:D:D:D:D:D

Great lens, enjoy. But like others have sais, you can't stop at 1. :love::shake::love:
 
Good purchase, it's a fantastic lens and the 1.4x extender is perfect with the lens.
You won't regret it and it will spend more time on your camera than you originally planned :)
 
I got this lens last week and I bloody love it, got a chance to use it at tatton park the other day and got these shots with it:

That was my first 'additional' lens to the kit lens, also from the legendary Kerso. I couldn't quite believe how good it was compared to my kit lens on the 40D. I have since acquired more lenses, but this one is still my favorite.

Just got a 5D mk II and was blown away a second time when I used my 70-200!

it's a world apart, the 70-300 was good dont get me wrong, but the color rendition, contrast and sharpness on this one just blows it out the water
