Hello,

My speedlite has finally arrived and I am looking for recommendations for rechargeable batteries and an intelligent charger.

Thanking you in advance.

Eshan.

I use these batteries where I still need AAs

They are Panasonic Eneloop clones and even the orginal sets I bought 10 years ago are still going. They retain a good portion of their charge for months, and support high current for a lower recycle time. They seem to survive heavy punishment too - my Nikon SB900s that I still use from time to time, will shutdown when the batt temp gets really high, but after they cool down again, they're fine.

Get a charger like the one Bazza recommended above - with individual charge circuits. I use Nitecore chargers that are very similar.

They charge 18650's as well which is becoming a standard for LED torches and other lights that don't have a proprietary battery.

I use those 7dayshop ones that Owen recommended above for flashes, head torches and most other AA needs and they are good.

I too use the 7dayshop batteries and their chargers.
although I also have some ENELOOPs

Thank you for the recommendations, decided to go for the 7dayshop batteries and went for the D4 like Owen suggested (was looking at the I4 originally)

Many Thanks to all again.
