recommend a website builder

I want to build my own website to place my photography on.
I done a few years ago using HTML and also bought some software for another which acted as a template.
Can anyone recommend a site builder which is reasonably priced and easy to use.
whats the best way to go about putting your own site together these days.

Most of the free site builders are garbage, so avoid those

You could have a look at putting together a site with Wordpress, or one of the paid for website template type sites (Photium, Clickpic are two that come immediately to mind)

I think site builders are tosh (but im a designer so I would think that)...

Go buy a book about CSS / Flash and your sorted. Alternativley hire a designer XD.

I can happily recommend photium, its quite easy to get round its limitations if your prepaired to be inventive.

The customer service is top notch too.

Also jalbum is very good and free. The prog will build your galleries and you have lots of options re skins and size etc. You don't even need to resize your pics ... that's done auto with you selecting the size.
