That is a lot of weight, maybe a roller bag would be another idea. You're stronger than me that's for sure !
How long is the 400mm with hood on body? I'll get tape measure outdo you think it would be deep enough to take the 400mm and lens hood
I have a Peli at the moment, but i sometimes have quite a distance to walk to the football matches and don't like the gear getting shaken that much over the rough ground .Already had the 70 -200 in for repair and Canon reckon it could have been the cause.Have a look at Think Tank, they have a few bags that could carry that amount of gear. Their largest bag in their airport series may be worth looking at.

That's understandable, I was thinking how much it would all add up to. What kind of weight would you be talking about? I had 15kg of kit in a f stop back pack last year for a few days away, mostly flat walking but you know you are carrying it.I have a Peli at the moment, but i sometimes have quite a distance to walk to the football matches and don't like the gear getting shaken that much over the rough ground .Already had the 70 -200 in for repair and Canon reckon it could have been the cause.
Hi Mark, it would be from train station to football ground. No uphill involved. The 400mm is 7.7" x 16.5" packet, the dia of hood is the killerWhen you say distance is it up hill and down dale like for landscapes or from train station to stadium?
