You can see that they have been through the wars, they had a leg and wing removed after a accident with a car. the photo was taken through a small peep hole so its not the best.
I reckon they have every right to be feeling sorry for themselves... :shrug:
Not sure about the 'chop a damaged bit off and never enjoy the freedom of the wild ever again' whole thing but heyho who/what am I to query the decision...
