Red Kite?

Hi all,

i managed to catch this red kite?? Whilst on the way home from the beach:

Would have liked less noise (it was a grab the camera moment) but quite pleased

My question is i shot on a 70-200mmL lens and then i've cropped it in photoshop...i realise cropping cuts out pixels and reduces file size but how could i avoid this drop in size when zooming in to resize for a better framing??

Took me a while, and if I am honest, when it comes to smaller birds, still learning

nice shot, however I would of cloned out the pole at the bottom of the pic.

Actually, I don't like to be pedantic, but it's a KESTREL. lol
