Repairing peeling rubber on 1D MkIII

Hi all. I just bought a 1D Mk III, and the rubber grip is peeling very slightly under the DELETE and FUNC buttons beneath the small rear LCD. Simple question please, what type of adhesive will be best to stick it down with?

For rubber to metal a contact adhesive is probably best. Just make sure that the rubber hasn't stretched or it wont glue back.
