So I recently got my hands on my first pair of flash guns, umbrellas and stands and was wondering if there was anyone out there, who has experience with such equipment, who'd be willing to set me some challenges and tasks that'll help me learn how to use the equipment in a hands on way?
The idea is that I'll gain a better under standing of how I can use this equipment to achieve different effects and through the understanding I gain from the tasks in general i'll learn how to implement the equipment in my own ways.
Some tasks can simply be 'tasks' plain and simple while others can explain how to achieve the results and my picture responses to the challenges can be C&C'd.
I'll post pictures as responses to the challenges and all the while update this original post to list the tasks so that other beginners have a list they can work from as well in the future.
*Note* At the moment I do not have a proper backdrop, that will not arrive until mid-July.
