Morning all,

Just picked up a Ricoh 500GX of the bay for the princely sum of £5.19. Should be here next week so has anyone any thoughts or advise about using it.

I got it because I wanted something small and discreet for shooting street, is it suitable?

Very suitable Andy. Good chances you will need to replace the light seal, which is no big deal. I changed mine in a few hours

Verry simple and easy to use, and has a pretty high quality lens. Enjoy it
 
Really nice little camera, I borrowed Ujjwal's 500g and it's the perfect street camera.
 
Excellent, thanks guys. I thought it looked the biz and reading up it looks a solid camera with a good lens.

Just checked on e-bayed and the other Ricoh 500GX I was watching just went for £36, think I got a bargain (so long as it works lol)
