Just my 2 penneth worth, and totally unworkable, but I think everyone should be made to ride a moped for 6 months before even learning to drive a car. Your observational skills and ability to asses and react to any given situation on the road are developed and learnt so much quicker without the 'invincible attitude' that a steel shell gives you, it can only benefit you and others when you finally climb into a car.

Interesting shot and after reading through two pages of stuff that normally seems to occupy the letters page of MCN (we are just missing a copper's posting here) I was sad to notice nobody actually commented on the purpose of the ride out....
