But in all honesty, come have a play with it, see if you actualy need one, what do you want that your 40 hasnt got?

Mainly, having seen yours now, I am not happy with the ISO handling on my 40D
But at around a grand, its an expensive "addition"

Honest one here for you, at low ISO on the 7D, if the Exposure is of a tad Noise can be an issue, but on the whole OK, think hard before spending if that is the only reason to be honest ;)
