Ringed Plover

The first two were taken at Elmley and the last one at Oare Marshes I think ! I should also add that the Avocet pic is rather old.

A good set. Like the reflections in the Avocet shot.
No 3 is a corker though.

The Avocet with the wings outstretched is very nice. A hint of over sharpening showing up along the wing edge though. You can see the bright line.

One of my favourite birds. Is it still the RSPB mascot? I have never seen one in real life.
