Taken yesterday too severe a crop me think's

Nice shot though Ray. The cropping problem is always there with small birds, all you can do to lessen the problem is get longer glass or get closer.

Birds like robins are excellent for honing technique as most of them are cheeky buggers & allow you to get closer than you could with most birds - the trick is to get them on a nice, natural perch (which they naturally avoid as soon as I'm anywhere near )
