But do they work? I am fairly happy with No.1 but I am unsure of 2 & 3 so I would appreciate your comments.

I actually think number 3 is the best. The first look as if they were shot with too wide an aperture for this scene in my opinion.

Hmm OK. I did soften the BG on No.1 because it looked too fussy sharp. Maybe I should look again.

... and would add that (on my screen..!) there seems to be a slightly heavy hand with the saturation?

Tee Hee you noticed Toby or is it your Dell monitor? :naughty: Yes I have increased the saturation selectively on all three and overall as well on No.3. They all looked a bit flat otherwise and seemed to come alive with a bit of extra colour. Maybe I should try a B&W conversion as well to see what happens.
 
I like number 2. best. May be worth croping out the dead bar area abouve the rock though.
