These were taken at Christmas up at my mum's, it's my daughter Rosie, shot with a Canon G10 (all my other cameras are film).
I noticed that Rosie was actually sat still in some nice natural light so I just whipped the camera out and shot away on auto, knowing I had very little time before she ran off or pulled a daft face!!! There was a big bay window on her left with light reflected from a white door on her right. I know the wall is a bit of a distraction here.
Then I moved her into the other room, there's a massive window on her left again but with a peach coloured blind down and lovely soft light coming through. Again I had next to no time so I kept in on auto and just hoped I got something nice.
Then I zoomed in for a moody one when she lost patience with me...!
I know NOTHING about photoshop so I've done nothing but shrink the images for posting.
