Yes
Has anyone tried to shoot (otherwise) natural light indoor portraits boosted with a SAD daylight lamp at all? These are 10,000 lux daylight bulb LED lamps (not supposed to be photographic equipment).

I'm looking into the Icelight for low-ish light indoor portraits and need to get one of these SAD lamps anyway, so wondering if I could save myself a lot of money! I guess not but curious to see if anyone has given it a go.

I have a ice icelight 2 and a magic tube all good not enough power for high key but for dramatic lighting they are good expensive though

I cant comment on these bulbs you are talking about but colour temp would be a issue and cri :-(

I haven't tried but I will do now. See what results I get.

This is untouched. The sad lamp I have is about 9" tall. I had to move it very close to get the light on it.

As mentioned above, If you shoot in raw you can change the white balance in post production. CRI will depend on the specific bulb/lamp... this thread is soo old I'm dying to know if anyone got results with one?
