Have you applied sharpening to it? there seems to be some halo'ing on the edges of the hills and the boat. I can see it was a grey day but you could possibly brighten it up a bit using the levels tool in your sodtware.

i was going to say cant you bring the colours out a bit more but saddleworth always appears grim so there would be no point......:-O like the composition though

Yes it was a pretty grim morning, I had to quickly take shots inbetween the constant rain showers and lost some pretty nice compositions due to spots of water on the lens. :shake:

This photo has definately lost quite a lot in the compression stage and looks brighter in the full size version.
I'm no expert in Photoshop and with my limited ability, I didn't want to spoil the picture by over-processing and making the scene look unnatural.

I'm here to learn, so if anyone feels like editing it please feel free.
