It doesn't get much better than that! Excellent.

very cool Steve, nice avatar, Mr blonde...

Took ages to load, but that could be my DNS troubles (Dinnae Nae Site).

Worth the wait however and worth staining the kness on your trousers again. Fanbloodytastic (y)

Thanks guys and gals!

HIMUPNORTH...The image is only 231k and 800px wide but it may have been my gallery hosting...it's been up and down like a brides' nightie the last couple of weeks.

I've got soooo many shots to process from this shoot.
I looked out of the dining room window and saw that kind of light that makes you grab your gear and jump in the car.

I know what you mean, and it's even rarer in Scotland I've found ;)

Normaly grey and drizzling :(

Nice shot and works really well. Good to see you're finding the time to post some stuff again too.

great shot, I thought they'd taken the nets down though

Theyr'e still there occasionally, I chatted to a couple of fishermen who said the best time to see them is on a Sunday, the only day they don't go out to sea.

Joe Cornish, a well respected landscape photographer featured the nets on the very same beach in his recent book and it was a double spread in 'Amateur Photographer' last year.

Thats where I got the idea of the rope lead-in.

Again taken with the kit lens...it's really not that bad if you find it's sweet spot. :)

Used an ND Grad too which I am growing to love.

That is t'rific Bachs ... some DoF you've achieved ... and a great composition ... :clap;

Can't help thinking it might be good mono too ... :p
