I've seen this pier posted on here a few times and it always seems to involve low light and a fairly processed look. I guess it doesn't look so good in normal light?

This is a bit too processed looking for me. Nicely composed picture though.

Is a great composition. Agree with Robert though about processing and the sky is too cyan for my taste.

There's very little processing involved. I haven't added to the colour.
It was almost like that out of camera. I bought the exposure down a little
(which brings colours out) and dodged the underside of the pier for a bit of detail.
