That's a damn fine lens you've got there. I couldn't afford or justify the MkII let alone the MkI. I settled with a Sigma 24-70 f2.8 HSM which gives me some great photos with my 5D3 but I'd like to give the Canon MkII a dance on the 5D3 for a while. Maybe if I win the lottery I could afford it lol.

Yeah - not cheap but if all my lenses were rolling along the deck towards the sea and I could save one, I suspect it would be the 24-70II!

Now the price has levelled on this lens I really want it. Sadly I have non of the folding stuff left after I get my new flash in 2 months
