Sample shots from new lens

Just brought myself a tamron 17-50mm 2.8 and love it to bits, not had much time to use it at min, but took a couple of test shots for you lot to have alook at, these are straight out the can with no p&p. would you say there sharp????

From the small samples it looks fine! You would be better off posting 100% crops if you want to check sharpness

Need 100% crops- also need to apply sharpening as well.

Cool, what is the AF like?

I had been looking at this lens for it's aperture and for faster autofocus than the kit lens (though i would have to give up IS )

i think the standard way is to shoot against a flattish image..so that perspective doesnt give apparent error
