Samyang 14mm F2.8

Anyone had any experience with this? Looking for a cheap UWA for a full frame camera as a stop gap until I can afford a Canon one. The manual focus bit doesn't bother me with such a wide angle lens.

Whats the build of them like? What are they like using day in day out?

I haven't any experience with the 14mm HOWEVER if it's anything like the 85mm you are going to be pleasantly surprised. The 85's build is first class, the action is smooth and tight, and the glass is very good. I've owned the 85mm for approx. 18 months and use it on both a D300 and T2i (550D) with adapter.
The 8mm fisheye is probably going to be my next purchase.

Can only commrnt on the 8MM fisheye and that was supurb.
There's apparently some pretty bad moustache distortion with the 14mm but I think someone has created a lens profile for Photoshop and Lightroom that gets rid of it pretty easily.

Just got the 14mm and i must sya i am very impressed, need to use it in anger properly and get the AF confirm chip fitted, but initial handling is very promising, seems high quality, not L series but hey look at the cost.

Hoping to try it out this week, it's SERIOUSLY wide on the 5D!
