Has anyone used a samyang 85mm 1.4 .If so,is it worth the and does it autofocus at all with nikon d300 or nikon d700.Is it sharp enough for the money.
 
There are loads of threads on these on the forum. Just do a search for it.
IMO its the sharpest lens Ive ever owned. Far sharper than the Nikon 85mm f/1.8, even at f/1.4.

All samyangs are manual focus only, but get an AE version to get aperture control through the camera.

Hi

what does it mean, when you say you can get aperture control through the camera?
 
You can control the aperture through the camera...
Rather than twist the aperture ring on the lens.
