are they any good as a starter ? ... just for web sharing etc,

I've got a V300 (I think it's the older model of the V330) and I like it and think that it gives a high enough quality for most uses. A thumbs up from me, especially considering the price.

Ive got a V300 which does the job at gives decent enough results at 2400dpi which gives acceptable 6MP images

it seems it will do 35 negs, and slides, but no mention of MF so I'll have to think hard before i decide.

I know I will want to scan MF in the not to distant future

there is also a review somewhere (might have been the 300 ) that it doesn't handle high contrast images well ???
