SD card for 550D

Hi guys which SD card should I get for 550D?
I use sandisc ultra 2 on my 40D are these fast enough?
I have just got the 550D and still getting the hang of it

The buffer fills too quickly on burst (with Raws) and it takes a while to load to card
I have standard speed sandisc card would a faster card make a difference or is it just the buffer on the camera that is limited

I wanted a second body and was going to get another 40D but they still fetch a high price so went for the 550D

Glad I did am really pleased with the image quality
the metering is better, noise is well controlled up to ISO 800 and the white balance more accurate too
Not noticing any sharpness issues I have read on the net that the 100-400L is not sharp with the higher resolution cameras mine seems OK

I use Sandisk Extreme 3s in my 550D and I very rarely get the buffer filling up. If you are shooting in raw, however, the slightly faster cards may not make that much of a difference.

I will be interested to hear what my fellow TPers have to say on this subject.

Yes would rec one of the Sandisk extreme cards
